About this product
The T5 is a push-pull entrance door lock from Moorgen's T5+ series. You open the door with 3D face recognition, palm vein recognition, an FPC fingerprint sensor, a PIN code, a temporary code, an IC card, the Moorgen Life app, a remote control (optional, sold separately) or the mechanical key; there is also one-touch opening from inside and dual verification, which asks for two methods together.
The lock comes with a black handle cover. The cover is interchangeable: coffee, red, light grey and petrol blue cover sets are available for an extra 5,000 TL. The opening button carries a Swarovski crystal and the panel is CNC-machined.
The 1 MP wide-angle camera and 850 nm infrared night vision on the outer unit keep face recognition and doorstep recording working in the dark. When a visitor rings, you talk to them by video on the indoor display or your phone. If someone lingers at the door, the lock sends a photo to the app, and records are kept in the cloud free of charge for 30 days.
The rechargeable 5,000 mAh battery lasts 3–5 months depending on use. If it runs flat, you open the door with the mechanical key or with a power bank plugged into the USB-C input. The T5 will be in stock soon. Fitting and installation are charged separately, depending on distance and city.
Fingerprint and 3D face recognition
The T5 fingerprint reader pairs a Swedish FPC sensor with an AI chip that keeps learning. One enrolment is enough: it still recognises a fingerprint that has worn or changed over time, and the door opens as soon as you grip the handle. 3D face recognition uses two cameras that judge depth much like human eyes; it tells a live face from a photo or video, and according to the manufacturer its accuracy is above 99.8%. With a recognition distance of up to 80 cm, children and adults alike can open the door without bending down.
Doorstep monitoring
Instead of filming the hallway non-stop, Sentinel mode uses AI to assess who is outside: household members pass, while someone lingering suspiciously is photographed and reported to the app. Fewer pointless videos are stored and less battery is used. You can open the peephole view from the app at any time and lock or unlock the door from your phone during a video call.
Security details
If you are ever forced to open the door, the duress method you set in the app opens it and alerts you at the same time. The anti-peeping virtual code lets you type random digits before and after your 6-digit code. If you turn back within 5 seconds of closing the door, face recognition will not reopen it. When the door is left open, the lock is tampered with or recognition fails repeatedly, a notification with a photo is sent to the app.
Installation
The lock runs on a rechargeable battery, so no power cable has to be run to the door. It fits left- and right-opening doors in new and renovated homes.

The T5 fits wooden, stainless steel, copper and aluminium entrance doors with a thickness of 40–120 mm. It works with standard mortises, 40 × 388 mm mortises and integrated mortises. We check your door thickness and existing mortise with you before you order.
How can the T5 be unlocked?
With 3D face recognition, palm vein recognition, FPC fingerprint, PIN code, temporary code, IC card, the Moorgen Life app, a remote control (optional, sold separately) and the mechanical key. On top of these come one-touch opening from inside and dual verification, which asks for two methods together.
Can I change the colour of the handle cover?
Yes. The T5 comes with a black cover and the cover is interchangeable. Coffee, red, light grey and petrol blue cover sets cost an extra 5,000 TL and appear as colour options on the product page.
Can I see who is at the door and talk remotely?
Yes. The outer unit has a 1 MP wide-angle camera and the inner unit a display. When a visitor rings, the video call starts on the indoor display and in the Moorgen Life app, so you can talk from your phone when you are away. The 850 nm infrared night vision also works in the dark.
Can face recognition be fooled with a photo?
No. The T5 uses a dual camera for 3D face recognition and tells a live face apart from photos and videos. The manufacturer states that it recognises people wearing glasses, hats or make-up, works in strong sunlight and takes about 0.4 seconds.
Will I be locked out if the battery runs out?
No. The 5,000 mAh battery lasts 3–5 months depending on use and warns you before it runs out. If it does go flat, you open the door with the mechanical key or with a power bank plugged into the USB-C input on the outer unit.
Is installation of the T5 included in the price, and how long is the warranty?
Installation is not included in the product price; fitting and installation are charged separately, depending on distance and city. Smarttek Teknoloji Ltd.
