About this product
The T53 is a Moorgen model designed as an economical option for Türkiye and will be in stock soon. In the manufacturer's catalogue it is listed as the T53s. It comes with a CNC-machined panel, a 4.5-inch indoor display and a 1 MP wide-angle camera, so you see visitors from inside and talk to them by video from your phone when you are away.
You open the door with 3D face recognition, palm vein recognition, fingerprint, permanent and temporary codes, an IC card, the Moorgen Life app, a remote control (optional, sold separately) or the mechanical key; dual verification and one-touch opening from inside are also available. On the inside, a turn knob lets you open the door by hand.
The 5,000 mAh lithium battery lasts 3–5 months depending on use; if it runs flat, you open with the mechanical key or a power bank plugged into the USB-C input. The price is 20,000 TL; sign up on the product page to be notified when it is in stock.
Recognises you with glasses, a hat or make-up
The T53's face recognition detects a live face with two cameras and opens in under 0.4 seconds. It works when you wear glasses or a hat, with make-up and in bright summer sunlight, and it cannot be opened with a photo or video. Dual 850 nm infrared illumination lets it work in total darkness too.
24-hour watch at the door
If someone waits at the door for 20 seconds, the lock takes a photo and sends it to the Moorgen Life app. Tampering, forced-entry attempts or repeated failed recognition set off a siren and send a notification to your phone. If you turn back within 5 seconds of closing the door, face recognition will not open it.

What is the difference between the T53 and the T50?
The difference lies in design and display. The T50's inside handle is a fully custom aluminium design, and it has a 5-inch indoor display. The T53 has a 4.5-inch indoor display and an inside turn knob. Both open with 3D face recognition, palm vein recognition and fingerprint.
How can the T53 be unlocked?
With 3D face recognition, palm vein recognition, fingerprint, permanent code, temporary code, IC card, the Moorgen Life app, a remote control (optional, sold separately) and the mechanical key. There is also dual verification, which asks for two methods together, and one-touch opening from inside.
Can I see who is at the door?
Yes. The 1 MP wide-angle camera on the outer unit sends the image to the 4.5-inch indoor display and to your phone. Ringing the bell starts a video call, and if someone lingers at the door their photo reaches the app. Records are kept in the cloud free of charge for 30 days.
How do I open the door if the battery runs out?
