About this product
The T50 is the best-selling Moorgen model in Türkiye. Its body is made entirely of aluminium, with an inward-curved design and its own distinctive lighting. Outside the door there is a camera, keypad and readers; inside there is a 5-inch display, so you see a visitor who rings without opening the door.
You open the door with 3D face recognition, palm, fingerprint, PIN code, IC card, the Moorgen Life app, a remote control (optional, sold separately) or the mechanical key. Dual verification, office mode, child protection mode and automatic locking are switched on or off in the menu. After 5 wrong PIN, fingerprint or card attempts, the system locks for 90 seconds.
The rechargeable 5,000 mAh battery lasts about 6 months depending on use. If it runs flat, you open the door with the mechanical key or with a power bank plugged into the USB-C emergency input. The T50 is in stock; fitting and installation are charged separately, depending on distance and city.
Finger vein and 3D face recognition
The T50 fingerprint reader does not stop at the surface print: it uses infrared light to read the vein pattern inside the finger. That is why it also recognises dry, wet or peeling fingers. 3D face recognition requires a live face; hats, glasses, make-up or strong light do not get in the way, and a photo or video will not open the door. Dual infrared night vision lights up to 2 metres, so it works in a pitch-dark hallway too. When you come within about 1 metre, an ultrasonic sensor starts face recognition and, once you are recognised, the latch retracts by itself.
Doorstep security
If someone keeps hanging around the door, intruder detection records a video and sends it to your phone. With the anti-peeping alarm and the duress (anti-hijack) alarm, an instant notification reaches the app when something is wrong. When you talk to a courier or a stranger from your phone, you can use the voice-changer function.
In the office
Every entry and exit is logged with its time, so the T50 can also serve as a staff attendance system in small offices. In office mode the door stays open for the day after the first successful entry from outside. Besides 300 users you can set up 10 administrators, and give guests and staff temporary codes valid on the dates and times you choose.
Installation and everyday use
The lock runs on a rechargeable battery, so no power cable has to be run to the door; the battery charges in about 4 hours. It fits left- and right-opening doors. With child protection mode on, opening from inside means touching the sensing area on the back of the handle while pressing the unlock button.

Which doors does the T50 fit?
The T50 fits wooden, stainless steel, copper and aluminium entrance doors 40–120 mm thick. It works with a mechanical mortise, and separate strike plates for metal and wooden doors are in the box. We check your door with you before you order.
How do the indoor display and video doorbell work?
The outside of the door has the camera and keypad, the inside a 5-inch display. You see a visitor who rings from inside without opening the door; the camera has motion detection.
The interface supports 11 languages, including Turkish.
Which battery does the T50 use, and how long does a charge last?
The T50 has a rechargeable 5,000 mAh lithium battery. One charge lasts about 6 months depending on use. When the voltage drops below 6.9 V, the lock gives a battery warning.
How do I open the door if the battery runs out?
There are two ways: with the mechanical key supplied in the box, or by connecting a power bank to the USB-C emergency input under the outer unit to power the lock.
How many people can be enrolled, and can guests get a temporary code?
According to the catalogue, 300 users in total: 50 palms, 50 faces, 50 fingerprints, 299 cards and 300 codes. You can give a guest or helper a time-limited temporary code; it stops working when the time is up.
Is the app or Wi-Fi required?
Not for opening the door: face, palm, fingerprint, PIN and IC card all work on the lock itself. The Moorgen Life app over Wi-Fi is used to manage the lock from your phone. The remote control is optional.
What is the difference between the T50 and the T5?
The T50 has an all-aluminium, inward-curved body with its own lighting, and it also opens by palm. It has no cover options and no Swarovski crystal button; the T5 has a Swarovski crystal button and an interchangeable colour cover.
Is installation of the T50 included in the price, and how long is the warranty?
Installation is not included in the product price; fitting and installation are charged separately, depending on distance and city. Smarttek Teknoloji Ltd.
