About this product
The ZHD66 was designed for Moorgen by Zaha Hadid Design, the design team of the world-famous architect Zaha Hadid, and carries the Zaha Hadid signature. Its body is shaped from a single piece of curved tempered glass; with its one-of-a-kind undulating form and irregularly placed number keys, it is more a design object than a lock.
You open the door with 3D face recognition, palm vein recognition, fingerprint, permanent and temporary codes, an RF card, the Moorgen Life app or the mechanical key. If someone lingers at the door, the app notifies you, and records are kept in the cloud free of charge for 30 days.
Worth knowing: the ZHD66 works with its own electronic mortise (6068 / 7068) and does not fit the standard lock bodies used in Türkiye, so its own mortise is fitted to the door during installation. Because the body is curved, there is no indoor display; you see the doorstep in the Moorgen Life app, where you can also video-call visitors and open the door remotely. Who was Zaha Hadid?
Zaha Hadid was a Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate and one of the leading figures of deconstructivism; she held the Kenzo Tange Chair at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Beijing Daxing International Airport, the Morpheus Hotel in Macau and Leeza SOHO in Beijing are works of her studio. The flowing, nature-inspired lines of the ZHD66 come from this design language.
Face recognition, even in the dark
Face recognition uses two cameras and opens the door in 0.4 seconds. It cannot be fooled with a photo or video, and a hat, glasses or make-up do not get in the way. Dual 850 nm infrared cameras give it night vision, and the lock switches on its own illumination when the light drops.
Keeping watch at the door around the clock
The lock keeps an eye on movement in front of the door, tells household members apart from strangers and sends a notification to the Moorgen Life app if someone lingers outside. It does this using less power than a security camera that records all the time.

Wooden, stainless steel, copper and aluminium entrance doors; door thickness 40–120 mm. Works only with its own electronic mortise (6068 / 7068) and does not fit standard lock bodies used in Türkiye. Imported armoured doors need an extra modification fee for the special electronic mortise.

Does the ZHD66 have an indoor display?
No. Because the body is curved, no display was fitted inside, so you see the doorstep in the Moorgen Life app instead. The lock detects and records activity at the door and notifies you if someone lingers; you can video-call visitors and open the door remotely.

How long does the battery last, and what if it runs out?
The ZHD66 has a 4,000 mAh lithium battery which, according to the catalogue, lasts 3–5 months depending on use. The lock warns you when it gets low; if it runs flat, you open the door with the mechanical key or a power bank plugged into the USB-C input.
